Do YOU take rest days?
I tell my athletes all the time
“you’re only as good as the exercise you can recover from.”
Training breaks down our tissues. Rest is when our tissues recover from the stresses of training. Without enough rest, the body stays in a constant “catch-up” mode, which can lead to chronic aches/pains/injuries, fatigue, and a plateau in progress.
Our bodies were designed for work AND rest. Let us honor both!
