Happy Monday! Drum roll please for our ☀️July☀️ patient spotlight!

Introducing JJ!

Jeff, one of the primary nurses for JJ, shared the following:
“ I have been working with JJ for 13 years. He is a very independent guy. He really enjoys school and being around his classmates. His iPad is his favorite toy, and Elmo is very important to him as well. JJ smiles and laughs a lot, he finds humor in every situation. He is a STAR of the team when it comes to Special Olympics, where his competitive spirit has always lifted him to bring home gold and silver every year. JJ is a joy to be around, and I am lucky to call him my friend.”

As we wind up CNA week, we wanted to take the time to spotlight one of our long-time CNA’s: Johnnie W.

Johnnie has been with Maxim since 2005, this month marking ✨TWENTY✨ years of dedication to her patients. She has impacted the lives of not only countless patients, but office team members as well. As part of CNA week, some office members were able to go surprise her on shift with flowers and gifts.

When asked, our DCO says about Johnnie: “She has been instrumental in shaping me in my Maxim career. I can remember going to some of my first patient visits almost 9 years ago and seeing Ms. Johnnie. She was so kind and patient as I stumbled my way through questions and paperwork. Johnnie is definitely a person that has served with her heart in the medical field.”

Johnnie, we are so thankful for you!

Whether working with a pediatric patient at school, or an elderly member at home, you all make an impact that allows them to live life as fulfilling as possible in the comfort of their home setting. Happy Monday!

Last week the Chattanooga office participated in our annual service day with The Austin Hatcher Foundation. This foundation offers support for patients diagnosed with pediatric cancer, as well as their family members. The Foundation not only treats the child suffering from the diagnosis, but also the entire family that has been negatively impacted. They provide educational, social, emotional, mental, and behavioral health services to families during and after a childhood cancer diagnosis.

This service day was very meaningful to our office and we look forward to serving with them again soon, some of us already signed up for another day 💙

Happy Friday! Please join me in wishing Kathy Levelle a very Happy Retirement from Maxim Healthcare. Kathy has been with our organization for 15 years and has worked with the same patient her entire career. Kathy is dedicated, hardworking, and brings everything she has to every single shift. She has been with her patient since he was in a crib, til now, as he wished her a happy retirement and thanked her for her service. We are so sad to see you go, Kathy, and wish you the best in Florida.
