In this tiring world we live in, college is practically forced upon younger generations. When I was a senior, the pressure to choose a college was insufferable. So I did what I do best, I defied the norm and said "nope, not gonna do that right now." Taking a gap year has turned out to be one of the healthiest choices I've ever made (bar isn't too high on that one but whatever.) I had big surgery back in September, which would have made it near impossible to also be doing college at the same time. [ 189 more words ]
