“Are you still a coach? Are you taking on clients?”

First of all, I appreciate ya’ll out to me. It truly means a lot.

To answer the question…. YES! I am still coaching, and the Bloom community always has room for anyone looking for guidance, support, and maybe even a new bestie… or a mama bear. 😆

I know I don’t make a ton of posts fitness related like I use too and sometimes share things in my stories, but I’m still here. Bloom with Kaye is my passion, and I’ll always keep my door open.

Right now I’m just really living in the moment. I’m enjoying my community of Bloom girls many of whom I’ve worked with for months or even years. Watching them grow has been such a blessing.

I’m also working at the school, trying to volunteer more with the kids, and just soaking in time with my family. Time really does fly by, and with life’s unknowns, I’m trying to be present for it all.

But one thing that hasn’t changed… Bloom with Kaye is open and will always be open even when I’m older and gray. 😆

Thank you all so much for the continued love and support. It truly means the world to me.

Perfect isn’t the goal.

And honestly… it never was.

So many people think progress comes from being perfect perfect meals, perfect workouts, perfect motivation every single day. But that’s not real life. Real life is busy. It’s stressful. Some days you’re tired, overwhelmed, or just not feeling it.

Progress actually comes from the small moments most people overlook.

The extra walk when you didn’t feel like moving.
Choosing a slightly better meal than you would have before.
Tracking your food or at least being more aware of what your body needs.
Showing up for your workout even when your motivation is low.
Grabbing water instead of another drink.

None of those moments seem huge on their own… but together they build something powerful.

Small improvements.
Small choices.
Stacking wins day after day.

That’s how real progress happens not through perfection, but through consistency.

So if today is just a little better than yesterday… you’re already doing it right.

Keep going. I’m proud of you.

✨ Client Spotlight ✨

One of my long-term Bloom girls ran her first 5K yesterday morning, and to say I’m proud would be an understatement. Not only did she place higher than she expected, but she’s already excited to keep stepping outside of her comfort zone and try even more races.

I’ve worked with her for many years, and I’ve watched her overcome so much along the way. When we started working together again she was at 175 lbs, and she’s now currently sitting at 153 lbs.

But the weight loss honestly isn’t the part that makes me the proudest.

What I’ve seen come back is her confidence, her strength, her willingness to challenge herself, and her joy for life again. That’s the real win.

Watching my clients discover what they’re capable of physically and mentally will never get old to me. Moments like this remind me exactly why I love what I do.

I’m so thankful for the women who trust the process, trust themselves, and trust me to guide them along the way.

Your growth, your courage, and your victories mean everything to me. This is what Bloom is all about.

It’s not “just a headache.”
It’s not a little pressure I can shake off with water and a nap.

It’s waking up already behind
light slicing through my eyes,
sound echoing like it’s trapped in a tunnel,
my heartbeat pounding in my skull like it’s trying to escape.

And I’m still Mom.

Breakfast still needs to be made.
Making sure kids are ready
Although no longer little voices the kids voices still need patience.
Work still expects me to show up and perform.

But a migraine doesn’t care about deadlines.
It doesn’t care about meetings.
It doesn’t care that kids are saying,
“Mom, watch this, mom I need a ride to practice etc”

It steals my vision.
It flips my stomach.
It makes every whisper feel like a scream.
It turns standing into a marathon and thinking into a fog I can’t push through.

And the hardest part?
Trying to function through something invisible.

Smiling when I want to curl up in a dark room.
Answering emails when words blur together.
Driving while praying the sun doesn’t pierce straight through my brain.

We’re not dramatic.
We’re not weak.
We’re not exaggerating.

We’re surviving something debilitating
while still being present for our children,
still clocking in,
still showing up even when our bodies are begging us not to.

So if I seem quiet, or distant, or slower than usual,
please understand:

I am fighting a storm inside my head
and still choosing to be a parent
in the middle of it.

That’s not dramatic.
That’s strength you can’t always see.

“I won’t chase my clients. If they don’t want it, oh well.”

And yeah I get that,

I can’t do the work for you. I can’t make you show up. You have to want it. You have to choose it.

But I will always try my best to remind my clients that they are worth it. I will remind them why they started in the first place. Not from a place of judgment. Not from chasing. But from understanding… and reminding.

Because sometimes people don’t need pressure they need perspective. They need support. They need someone to say, “Hey, don’t give up on yourself just because life feels heavy right now.”

I had a client message me saying she needed to take a step back. She apologized and said she felt like she was wasting my time.

I replied back with grace and reassurance.

And guess what? She replied back and decided she’s not giving up on herself. We’re not quitting we’re adjusting. We’re shifting things to fit her current season instead of forcing her into one that doesn’t work right now.

That’s coaching to me.

No judgment.
No ego.
No chasing.

Just meeting people where they are… and reminding them they’re still capable

175 ➡️ 153

This wasn’t just weight loss.
This was self-trust rebuilt.

She didn’t wait for motivation
she became it.

Early mornings.
Hard workouts.
The days she didn’t feel like it but showed up anyway.

She stopped negotiating with the goals she said she wanted.
She stopped quitting on herself.

She’s not doing this for attention.
She’s doing it for her.
For her family.
For a longer, stronger life.

Every pound lost holds a story
of doubt she pushed through,
of discipline she built,
of a woman who decided “no more.”

No more waiting.
No more shrinking.
No more “one day.”

She built strength.
She built consistency.
She built a new standard.

And this right here?
This is what blooming looks like.

Not perfect.
Not overnight.
Just consistent growth.

And she’s just getting started.

To be able to inspire your children… there is nothing like it.

Athena genuinely enjoys working out. She’ll be in her room challenging herself with push-ups, wall sits, crunches just seeing what she’s capable of. In PE class she pushes herself to do all her push-ups off her knees (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing them on your knees). She just loves to challenge herself.

Last night she came out so excited telling us how many she got. Then she said one of her friends asked her, “Why are you so good at push-ups?”

And she goes,
“Well, my mom is a personal trainer and she’s always worked out with us… so I think it’s just in my genes.” 🤣✌🏽

And listen… I know she’s proud of her daddy too. But hearing her feel strong because of ME? That hit different.

I grew up hating my body. Shoot even in adulthood I struggled with it. So to see my daughter want to be strong not because she wants to be small, but because she wants to be capable, powerful, and confident that does something to my heart.

Peep that last video. I love seeing how far I’ve come from being so tiny, to building muscle, to learning proper form myself. But the main thing I love? Seeing myself through Athena’s eyes.

All she saw was herself having fun with her mama.
All she heard was “up, down, up, down.”
She didn’t see a mom who didn’t like her body.

That right there is everything.

It reminds me that I do hard things not just for me… but for them.

Breaking cycles.
Breaking trauma.
Building strength in more ways than one.

Question I get a lot:
“How do you stay motivated if your partner isn’t?”

First every relationship is different. What works for Tony and I may not work for you. And that’s okay bb.

Yes, we eat well and train together (for the most part)… but it hasn’t always looked perfectly aligned.

Because here’s the truth, we focus on taking care of ourselves and each other but separately first.

There have been seasons where Tony was fully locked in (military discipline is just who he is).
There have been seasons where he wanted a break… and I still needed to show up for me.

There have been times I had very little to give and he lit a fire under my butt.
And there have been times I was the one pushing while he needed space.

It flows. It shifts. It’s not 50/50 every day.

I’ve also learned this when you fully commit to taking care of yourself, it spills over. Your energy changes. Your habits change. And sometimes the people around you start wanting to join in too.

Does it make it easier when your partner is aligned? Absolutely.
But your main focus has to be committing to YOU. It’s hard but once you fully lock it becomes easier.

I’ve been the woman who let herself fall so far behind taking care of everyone else. I don’t want that for anyone.

Right now my “showing up” looks a little messy. Life is full. I’m juggling a lot. But I’m still showing up the best I can not perfectly, just consistently.

You are worth the effort.
With support or without it.
With hype or without it.

We’re not perfect over here. We’re still learning. Still adjusting. Just doing our best in this season.

And choosing not to quit on ourselves

One of the Bloom girls says she’s 10 pounds down.
But more than that… peace found.

(Swipe to see full message)

When a client tells me, “It just feels good to not feel pressured but feel supported,” that’s it. That’s the goal.

Sustainable results don’t come from fear, restriction, or shame. They come from consistency, confidence, and having someone in your corner.

Things aren’t “clicking” by accident they’re clicking because you showed up, trusted the process, and gave yourself permission to grow.

So freaking proud. 🥹

And the fact that your friend wants to reach out? That’s the biggest compliment of all.

This is what happens when we build strong bodies and strong mindsets.

Happy 12th birthday to my sweet, funny, spooky little cuddle bug 🤍

You came into this world screaming… and you truly have not stopped since 🤣 and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love your drive. I love your s***k. I love your huge heart for animals and for people. I love that no matter how big you get, you still melt into my arms for cuddles.

You may be 12 now, but you’re still glued to my hip my little shadow. I’m never really alone because you’re always right there behind me (usually talking 😂).

Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy love you more than words could ever say. We are so proud of the beautiful, bold, loving girl you are becoming.

Happy Birthday, my baby. Always and forever.
