If you know Dr. Ptasnik, you know she never passes up an opportunity to talk about skin… especially if there’s an audience. 😄

We had such a great time visiting the students at Straits Area School of Cosmetology and chatting about skin diseases, common conditions you’ll see behind the chair, and how to recognize signs of skin cancer. Cosmetologists are often the first to notice changes on the scalp and skin, so your role in early detection is incredibly important.
