A repost from our friends at Hope Rises 🏈❤️
"Some days remind us exactly why we do what we do!
This past year, Aiden has faced more than any child ever should. After enduring severe bullying due to his hair loss (alopecia) and hearing loss, as well as the overwhelming stress that followed, he was diagnosed with psychogenic seizures - his body’s way of coping with the trauma and anxiety.
When the Bills Mafia rallied around Aiden with messages of encouragement, it became clear that this community was ready to show up for him in a BIG way. Through that outpouring of love, we had the honor of hearing his story and helping make some magic happen!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends at Atwal Eye Care, Aiden and his family were welcomed into their suite for an unforgettable game-day experience - complete with warmth, kindness and special surprises from the Atwal family that made him feel truly celebrated.
After the game?
For months, we had been working behind the scenes to arrange a special meet and greet with Bills DE, Landon Jackson, and his wife, Grace. They took time out of their night to connect with Aiden post game to offer encouragement and remind him that things do get better - words that clearly came from the heart because Landon too has suffered from alopecia since childhood.
Aiden’s smile says it all! He called it “the best day ever" 🥹
And what makes this story even more special is that this all happened during the final game at Highmark Stadium - a place filled with decades of memories, emotion, heart and Bills history.
Tonight, Aiden and his sister didn’t just attend a game — they felt heard and uplifted."
It's truly more than football. Go Bills. ❤️💙
