Food donations requested!
If you are able to help, it sounds like the greatest need is focused on single-serve meals and items that don’t require a can opener. And water bottles.

The Lewis County Gospel Mission's food pantry is desperately low on shelf stable, single serve food items. This pantry provides these items to persons in need. An individual can get food items equivalent to a single meal each day. This service supplements the 2 hot meals (breakfast & lunch) that are served everyday Monday through Friday.

We rely on our community supporters to keep the shelves stocked.

Here is a list of some of the items that are needed:

Soups with "pop top" lids
Single serve cups of soup
Canned vegetables with "pop top" lids
Canned tuna and other meats with "pop top" lids
Shelf stable foil packed meats, single serve.
Roman noodles, single serve
Canned baked beans with "pop top" lids
Single serve quick oatmeal packs
Single serve fruit cups
"Breakfast" bars
Dried fruit and "trail" mix in single serve packs

In addition, bottles water is always in short supply!

🌿Hello, gardeners! 🌱It’s time to sort your seeds and see what you have too much of or what you’re missing. Then come join us Saturday, February 21 for the Free Seed Swap at NNF. We’ll be swapping and chatting from 10:30 to 1:30, so drop in at any point during those hours.

You can also bring cuttings to share. If you have small envelopes or baggies, those could come in handy for dividing seed packets. ✉️
