As the December cold sets in on the farm — and we busy ourselves indoors in the apothecary — we find ourselves thinking back on the season that was. While the drought that took over in August leaves perhaps the strongest memory weather-wise, it’s easy to forget how wet and lush the first half of the season was. Exhibit A - milky oats, harvested at the tail end of July, provided us with our most abundant harvest ever.

This wonderful herb appears in formulations for teas like Gentle at Heart and Mirror the Moon, as well as in our Adaptive and Resteasy tincture blends. Of course we also proudly off it in bulk for folks to use however they like!

This summer, we were visited by Amanda from Junction Fiber Mill (https://junctionfibermill.com/) , an amazing small business in our area that turns WOOL into YARN!
