I am challenging employers and organizations to provide help to their caregivers at work.

Family caregiving is a workforce, public health and healthcare crisis.

Caregiving affects us ALL. Don't care what you look like, where you're from, who you worship or who you love.

CAREGIVERS: Healthcare has regulations they must follow in supporting you and the patient. They have to help you. Ask for it!

Employers SHOULD help you, if they want to keep the money that every company spends on the crisis of caregiving and the resulting stress and burnout.

That leads to leaving careers, increased physical, emotional and mental health issues and so much more.

All this for the very people who hold up the following systems because they depend on the $600 Billion in FREE PATIENT CARE caregivers provide each year:

- Women are the majority at 61%
- Care recipients are mostly older adults
- Most caregivers live with the care recipient
- 4 million Americans under 18 are caregivers (up from 1.4 million)

Most companies talk about mental health and retention…

But they forget about one of the biggest causes of burnout:

👉🏽 Unseen caregiving responsibilities.

Caregiving isn’t just about elder care.
It’s parenting a child with a disability.
It’s managing chronic illness.
It’s making 10 phone calls to a doctor on your lunch break.
It's having to unexpectedly leave in the middle of the day.

That’s why I’m leading weekly education workshops starting this fall to help companies:

Reduce turnover
Improve absenteeism, presenteeism, productivity & DEI outcomes
Actually support the real lives of their people
Help their caregivers!
