Happy Radiologic Technology Week to this group!

This week commemorates the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895. The first human x-ray image was of Roentgen's wife's hand which she exclaimed "I have seen my death!".

Advances in diagnostic imaging included the development of Ultrasound in 1942, Computed Tomography (CT) in 1972, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in 1977.
