Our Cherry Hill community came together for a heartfelt Veterans Day Service led by Craig from Suncrest Hospice to honor and celebrate our brave Veterans. We proudly recognized our eight resident Veterans with certificates of appreciation for their service and sacrifice – The ceremony was filled with warmth and gratitude as we sang patriotic songs, shared memories, and reminisced about the experiences that shaped their lives and our nation’s history. It was a truly touching tribute to the heroes among us!

Thank you to the students from Children of Grace who visited our residents here at Cherry Hill to share a heartwarming performance of patriotic songs. Their lively music filled the room with smiles and pride as everyone joined in celebrating the spirit of community and country. After the performance, the students spent time visiting with the residents, enjoying friendly conversations and delicious cookies together – a sweet ending to a meaningful afternoon!

Our Cherry Hill residents enjoyed a fun and aromatic “Create Your Own Tea” workshop, where they explored a variety of tea flavors and crafted their own personalized tea bags. Participants took time to smell and compare different ingredients, learning about the unique qualities of white, green, and oolong teas. The experience was both educational and relaxing, allowing everyone to express their creativity while discovering their perfect tea blend!

The residents here at Cherry Hill enjoyed a fun and creative afternoon at our Pumpkin Décor Workshop, where they transformed simple pumpkins into beautiful fall decorations using decorative napkins and Mod Podge. Laughter and conversation filled the room as everyone experimented with patterns, colors, and textures, turning each pumpkin into a unique work of art. The event was a wonderful way for the residents to connect, get crafty, and celebrate the cozy spirit of the season together!

Our Chili Cook-Off here at Cherry Hill was a great success! We had six fantastic entries: Reflections, Sales & Marketing, Engagement, Culinary, & Resident. Everyone showcased their skills and passion for cooking. All the participants were winners, as each chili dish brought a unique and delectable flavor to the table. Congratulations to our winners:

1st place – Sales & Marketing
2nd Place – Resident, Carrol
3rd Place (Tie) – Reflections & Culinary.

Great job to all those involved in making the cook-off a memorable and tasty experience!

Our Cherry Hill residents had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween with festive costumes, lively entertainment, and Halloween-themed karaoke! Everyone enjoyed delicious treats, including crisp apples and creamy caramel, while enjoying the creativity from our associates in our pumpkin decorating contest. A big thank you to all who participated and helped make the event such a success. Congratulations to our winner, Josephine, for her imaginative Ice Cream Sundae Pumpkin!

This Halloween, the residents of Cherry Hill were delighted to welcome cheerful trick-or-treaters to our community! Laughter and excitement filled the halls as children, dressed in creative costumes, visited our residents and associates, collecting candy and sharing smiles. The residents enjoyed seeing the festive spirit come alive, reminiscing about their own Halloween memories while handing out sweet treats. It was a heartwarming evening that brought generations together in celebration and community!
