What is actually "HEALTHY"???
Is it being able to squat all the way down ---
butt to heels?
Is it grip strength?
Is it being "skinny"?
Is it being confident with whatever weight you are?
What modality is best for you?
Is it Pilates? Which kind of Pilates? Classical? Hot Pilates?
Yoga? Which type of Yoga? Bikram? Ashtanga? Kundalini?
Strength training? Which kind? Body weight? Heavy weight? Kettlebells? Resistance bands?
Oooooommmmmggggg!!!!!
I know one thing for sure
Constantly obsessing, researching and questioning...
What is healthiest.
The best way to tone up.
The best way to lose weight
Is definitely NOT healthy.
The good news is - all of it can be beneficial to your health.
The bad news????
It can also not be good for you at the moment and your health.
It's almost never an always.
It's almost never a never π€π€π€
So many of us are looking for a straight linear path to health.
Like life, there just isn't one.
But that's not marketable.
It's not easy to put that into a cute step by step program to sell to the masses
That can't be wrapped up into a tiny pill π to ingest.
So instead the extremes make noise.
The "5 exercises to do to permanently get rid of back pain" are sold and bought by the masses."
Until none of them work long term and the next new fad comes along with a new fun glittery title and it all starts again.
So, why do I stay in the industry?
I would be lying if I said I never fell into these traps myself. Marketing is VERY convincing.
But along the way I continue to learn, be as transparent and honest as I can to come to the most truthful answer I can to attract the clients that are ready to hear ππ»it.
I do best in small groups anyway.
If you are someone who could be well supported in a purposefully planned smaller group settings
With more 1:1 attention
But also like a bit of group energy
And want to LEARN which direction might be best to be their healthiest self.
My spring offerings could be a great option for you.
I will be posting them in the coming days.
Or just reach out to me.
Happy to answer any questions.
Stay LIFTed π
