We’re proud to award them a General Operating Flexible Support Grant in the Health & Wellness category, helping their volunteer clinicians provide free care to uninsured neighbors. The Cherry Hill Free Clinic -- which provides free health care for the uninsured -- received $76,100 through NBC Universal's Local Impact Grants.

Where do we find these people?

Since our birth, we’ve had volunteer doctors who drive 2 hours one way,
volunteers nurses who show up after a night shift,
Clinicians who work 40+hrs at their “day job” only to sign up on the first day off,
Weekend and Evening angels who insist we must broaden access,
… All to make healthcare possible New Jersey residents who cannot afford it.

Now we can add to that list ... volunteer doc with broken foot who insists on not cancelling shift.

To all our volunteers who embrace this labor of love for their fellow neighbor, THANK YOU.

Dr Rozy Dunham volunteers with us. She is a board-certified cardiologist caring for adults with heart conditions. She is particularly interested in caring for women with cardiovascular disease. She’s a rare gem for her personalized approach to care, kindness, knowledge, and ability to communicate complex medical information in easily understandable terms.

Our world need more Dr Dunhams. Bless you, Dr Dunham for being a blessing to New Jersyans who cannot afford health insurance.

Our Community Health Team shines bright, yet again. 😎

Each of our outstanding community health workers (CHW) Charlie Brown IV, Hindira Garcia and Maria David recieved the CHW Excellence Award, CHW Hero Award and CHW of the year Awards respectively. 👏🏽

This is testament to the remarkable work of community outreach & education, social needs navigation and treatment, and chronic disease management- all layering up to the trust the community has in all we are about. 🌷🌻
