Garber is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and is one of New Jersey´s top plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Dr. Garber completed a full residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. In addition to his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, he is also an osteopathic physician and surgeon (D.O.), which means he has had additional training in alternate medicine. or osteopath certification in plastic surgery are considered equal by the state and federal government as well as hospitals and both are very similar in terms of years of training required. This additional training of the body’s nerves, muscles and bones provides the osteopath physician a better understanding of the body and offers the most comprehensive care in medicine today. As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Garber has developed the understanding to seek solutions to extremely complex problems. Dr. Garber graduated from George Washington University in the District of Columbia and University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Iowa. He did his postgraduate training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia where he was Chief Resident in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is on the Board of Governors for Conventus Insurance, and is affiliated with the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Garber is on the staff of West Jersey Virtua Hospital, Kennedy Hospital, Summit Surgical Center, Centennial Surgery Center and Lourdes Medical Center Burlington.
