Meet the Visionary Behind Transitions ✨

Barbara Donahue wasn't just an educator—she was a pioneer. As a special-education child study team leader, Barb recognized a critical gap: children struggling with school refusal needed specialized, compassionate support.

In 2005, she partnered with cutting-edge medical professionals to create something extraordinary: the Transitions program.

Her question: "How do we help the kids everyone said were too difficult to reach?"
Her answer: 20 years of proof that every child deserves a path forward.

While Barb is no longer here with us today we honor her memory every day staying mission driven and focused on the amazing and profound impact her vision had, and still has today!
