I am eager to share that I will be opening my schedule to full-time in my therapy practice in 2026! Daytime sessions, daytime virtual DBT classes and yoga classes are being added to the schedule.

As we come to the close of the month, I want to call attention to another important observance in June, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month!! PTSD can affect anyone who has experienced a wide range of traumatic or life-threatening events. While most people who experience these events may not develop PTSD, an estimated 13 million Americans were diagnosed with it in 2020 (U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs). So, it is important to know the warning signs, reach out for help, speak out about your experiences, and check-in on your friends and loved ones. No one is alone!! # #

Memorial Day is a bitter sweet day when we think back on the history of our nation.
War is never the answer. Death and fighting is not the answer.
Thank you to those who had to do what they had to do at the time to preserve the privilege of freedom, as many do not share the same human rights.
I do know there is another way to solve problems. Killing and dying is not the way.
