99 rounds of 5.56

Broke out the Anderson (RIP) 1000 round test g*t for the first snow day. This rig has at least 1500 rounds of nothing but full auto on it now. Maybe closer to 1700. But anyways we are starting to make some visible progress. The can is an Sonus Minima 5.56 unit.

After multiple cancelled flights we finally just rented a car and started driving home from . While pulling off the interstate to get gas in Albuquerque today we saw two gals struggling mightily to change their tire after a blowout. Many, many , MANY moons ago when I was in high school I had an old farmer help me on the side of the road once and when I asked him how much I owed him for helping me, he simply said “if you ever see anyone that needs help, just stop and help them”. Those words have served me extremely well and I’ll never forget them. I love to pass them on as often as I can. I may not be good at a lot of things but I can darn sure change a tire. Here’s your friendly reminder to help someone out if you can. - HMFIC

Sad but true.

I was at the Midwest Industries, Inc. booth making fun of their tacticool lever gun 2.0 stuff and they started feeding me beer in an attempt to change my mind. I told them I might rethink my stance as long as the beers kept coming. (Does that make me a shill?)

I tried to like the tactical lever gun phase, I really did. I even built myself one. I couldn’t get past the gayness though. I actually love Midwest Industries, Inc. and this will likely do well for them. But for as much dumb s**t as I like, I’m struggling w this lineup lol. Hey send me one for my S&W 500 snubby and try to make a believer out of me (and a bottle of nice bourbon) and I promise to give it an honest chance. Also thanks for the beers and humoring my du***ss. - HMFIC
