Pauline Barbara (Green) Wentz of Chesaning, MI passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 99. She had worked at different times as a secretary at the Farmer's Elevator in Chesaning and then Aunt Jane's Pickles in New Lothrop. She also was the bookkeeper and managed their small store when her husband, Richard, became the Surge Dealer for Saginaw County. She was very active in the Trinity United Methodist Church and served as its treasurer for many years. Visitation and a funeral service for Pauline will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Guy W. Baker of Chesaning, formerly of Ga***rd, age 87, died Thursday, October 30, 2025. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force. Guy was a tree farmer, licensed real estate broker, builder, owned Bakers Hardwood Shop and did title research. He retired 20 years ago but continued with his hobbies of genealogy, coin collecting, building furniture, panning for gold, identifying trees and he enjoyed learning languages such as German, French, Spanish, Polish and Turkish. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Parish, Knights of Columbus St. Christopher Council #2943 and the Otsego Conservation District. A Memorial Visitation and Funeral Mass will be 11 am Friday, November 7, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Chesaning.

Richard E. “Dick” Bonkowski of Chesaning, age 88, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso. He was a 1955 graduate of Arthur Hill High School and then served in the US Air Force after graduation. He has been a resident of Chesaning since 1974, coming from Shields. Dick retired from General Motors as a Tool and Die Maker and also owned A&B Bookkeeping as an accountant, CPA and was also a realtor and then later, a flight instructor. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the UAW.
Visitation with a Prayer Service will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Misiuk Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
