This week Thyme & Mana. Personal Meal Prep Solutions partnered with Care4frontline to deliver meals to the night crew at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

We have so many new recipients to receive our love ❤️ drops so we thought we’d tell our story

🌟 Founder Spotlight & Our Why 🌟

The heart behind Care4frontline ❤️‍🔥

Care4frontline was born during COVID 😷🦠 —
when emergency departments and ICUs were pushed beyond capacity 🏥🚨
and the weight of the crisis was overwhelming for everyone inside those walls 💔

One of our founders wasn’t physically working in the hospital at the time 🏠💻
—but her heart never left the bedside ❤️‍🩹

Her phone never stopped buzzing 📲💥
Texts. Calls. Voice messages.
Stories from ED and ICU colleagues describing the unimaginable 😞🖤
Patients declining fast ⚠️
Families saying goodbye over FaceTime 📱💔
And teams carrying grief shift after shift ⏳😵‍💫

And then there were the respiratory therapists 🫁🩺
The quiet heroes of the COVID crisis 💙

RTs managing vent after vent ⚙️
Running from room to room 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Troubleshooting, adjusting, saving breaths 🤍
Standing at the bedside when lungs were failing 😷🫁
And doing it all with skill, compassion, and strength beyond words 💪✨

The ICU became a battlefield 🏥⚔️
And respiratory therapists were absolutely essential to survival 🙌🫁
Yet so often, they were overlooked 😔

From outside the hospital, she heard it all 📲💔
And she couldn’t stay on the sidelines ❌

When her colleagues needed help, she was pulled back into action 💥👩‍⚕️
Because when ED teams, ICU nurses, and RTs are drowning —
you don’t ignore the call 📞🤍
You answer it 🚨❤️

Together with another ED nurse still inside the hospital 👩‍⚕️🤝👩‍⚕️
they turned heartbreak into action 💥
Exhaustion into support 🤝
And isolation into something that finally felt like love ❤️📦

Care4frontline was built on lived experience 🏥
On deep respect for ED teams, ICU staff, respiratory therapists, and every frontline role 🩺🚑🫁
