We wanted to take a moment to talk about some changes happening in January 2025 at Restorative Physical Therapy. After much thought, we have decided to go out of network with all Anthem and BCBS plans. While this will be upsetting for some, we hope that you understand we didn’t take this decision lightly. When Restorative Physical Therapy opened in 2016, providing top notch care was our main priority. With a continual reduction in payments from Anthem/BCBS, we cannot afford to stay in their network any longer.
How does this affect me as a patient?
If you are a current, established patient, we will continue to take Anthem/BCBS through the end of 2024. We will not be scheduling any new Anthem/BCBS patients as we are already booked out until December 2024 and this would disrupt continuity of care.
Treatment is still available to you if you have an Anthem or BCBS plan but you would be considered an out-of-network patient. Unfortunately, you will be required to self pay upfront. If you are in need of reimbursement from your insurance company, we can provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We appreciate your understanding during this transition and hope we can continue to treat any of your physical therapy needs.
