Out of an abundance of caution following changes in the forecast, all City of Chesapeake facilities will delay opening until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26.

The forecast is now calling for overnight freezing which could lead to slick roadways and patches of black ice. Public Works crews are continuing to work overnight treating bridges, overpasses, and any other icy areas reported but if you must be on the roads, please slow down and use caution.

Employees with questions about their specific reporting time should contact their supervisor.

The Circuit Court and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court will also open at 10:00 a.m. Please contact them directly with any questions.
