Love was truly in the air at our Valentine’s Vow Renewal Ceremony! 💙

Four wonderful couples from our community reaffirmed their love and commitment, surrounded by family, friends, and so much joy. The afternoon was filled with heartfelt moments, happy tears, and plenty of smiles as each couple renewed their vows in a touching ceremony celebrating lasting love.

After the “I do’s,” everyone enjoyed a celebratory champagne toast, delicious cake, while Lyle & Linda performed timeless love songs that us swaying and singing along.

It was a wonderful reminder that love only grows stronger with time. Congratulations to our amazing couples on this special milestone.

Our residents enjoyed delicious Domino’s pizza during Happy Hour, generously sponsored by our amazing Sales Director, Tracy! Thank you, Tracy, for treating everyone to such a fun and tasty afternoon.

Nothing like America’s pastime to spark joy ⚾️

Yesterday in Harmony Square, we brought baseball to life with soft stress balls for “pitches” and pool noodles for bats. Safe, simple, and so much fun. With Activity Assistant Trey, an active softball player showing off his pitching skills, our residents were excited to play.

Yesterday, we had our Harmony Square residents strike a pose for our Glamour Shots program! 📸

The room was filled with big smiles,

At Oakbrooke, our team is more than a staff - we’re family ⭐️

Our Activity Assistant, Trey, is usually the friendly face calling bingo, teaching exercise, or driving residents to appointments. But when our community needed him most, he stepped up in a big way. Trey helped transport residents to the hotel, made sure everyone got settled safely, and kept things calm during a stressful time.

His compassion, leadership, and steady presence made all the difference. We’re incredibly grateful for Trey and proud to have him as such an important part of the Oakbrooke family.

Tonight, a few of our residents gathered around a table in an apartment sharing dinner, laughter, and friendship. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful community can be.

The Harmony bus has you covered! Every Wednesday our Independent Living and Assisted Living residents have the opportunity to go to the store for all the essentials.

Yesterday, we visited Publix off cedar road. Our residents loved the variety of different foods they had to offer, perfect for stocking up before the forecasted snow this weekend ☃️

We took our Harmony Square residents out for a delicious lunch at Olive Garden, and it was a hit! With great conversation and plates cleaned, our residents were excited for lunch on the town!
