When Finley was born we noticed right away she couldn’t swallow her saliva. Thinking we were pro parents our third time around, we carried on. 11 respiratory infections in 7 months later, we discovered she was silently aspirating.

She now has had a laryngeal cleft repair and participated in intense feeding therapy. She handles her moderately “honey thick” consistencies and is thriving thanks to her feeding tube!

Having a toddler with dysphagia is a challenge to say the least, but we are thankful for all of her doctors and therapists that help her live her best life!
