Our passion is to help others achieve their health and wellness goals by combining traditional and nontraditional physical, mental, and spiritual healing modalities for the improvement of human performance, functional movement, mobility, range of motion, flexibility, resilience, stability, active recovery, and physical and mental optimization through individual sessions, group classes, and workshops for the Hampton Roads communities in a comprehensive healing space. There are multiple options available for health and wellness growth, as well as personal and professional development. All are welcome, no matter your fitness level. The programming available at the Tactical Health & Wellness Center is developed around this concept, and we will meet you where you are in your health and wellness journey. The current stage of development and expansion of the Tactical Health & Wellness Center would serve as an alternative fitness modality to the traditional, hard-core, and hard-charging HIIT. We do NOT use machines. Our preference is to use minimal equipment, such as balance balls, yoga blocks, and resistance bands. Please, do NOT misunderstand, you will work hard in the classes that are offered at the Tactical Health & Wellness Center; you WILL sweat. The process will just be lighter on your joints and spine, with more focus on your structure, core, posture, mental freedom and clarity, and balancing your energy. The Hampton Roads area has one of the largest populations of military, veterans, and first responders. This community serves selflessly in the protection and safety of not only the Hampton Roads communities but also our nation. It is our honor to serve this community, to ensure they are in the right frame of mind and state of physical being to perform at their most optimal levels of movement while maintaining mental clarity and acuity.

What might you start to notice in the first few weeks of focusing on your core and movement?

For many people, the changes are not dramatic at first—but they are meaningful.

You may start to notice:

• movements feel a little more stable
• less tension in areas that used to feel tight
• improved awareness of how your body moves
• small increases in confidence with everyday movement

Progress does not always show up as big, immediate changes.

Sometimes it shows up as subtle shifts that build over time.

Today is Easter—a reminder that growth and renewal do not always happen all at once, but they do happen with intention and consistency.

The 16-Week Core Connection program is designed to support that process—helping you rebuild strength and movement from the foundation up.

If you have been thinking about starting, this may be a good time to take that first step.

We are currently in Open Enrollment for our Spring Cohort that will begin on May 4th. Take advantage of our Founder's Pricing until April 30th, because on May 1st, the price will increase.

Ever feel tight… no matter how much you stretch?

You’re not alone.

A lot of the time, tightness isn’t just about flexibility—it’s about stability.

When the body doesn’t feel stable, it creates tension as a form of protection.

That’s why you can stretch and stretch… and still feel tight.

The issue may not be that your muscles are too short.

It may be that your body isn’t getting the support it needs.

When you improve stability—especially through the core—the body can start to release that tension naturally.

That’s when movement begins to feel easier.

This is something I see often.

The 16-Week Core Connection program focuses on building that foundation so your body can move with more support and less restriction.

04/01/2026

Your core affects more than you think.

It is not just about strength—it is about how your body moves, stabilizes, and supports itself throughout the day.

When the core is not functioning well, other areas often compensate.

That is when you may start to notice:

👉• tight hips
👉• lower back discomfort
👉• instability during movement

The body is always trying to adapt—but those adaptations do not always feel good.

When you improve core stability, everything else starts to work better together.

That is why the 16-Week Core Connection program (link in bio) focuses on strengthening the body from the center outward.

Because when your foundation is strong, movement becomes easier.

“I have tried before… and it did not work.”

If you have ever felt that way, you are not alone.

Many people have tried workouts, programs, or routines that did not stick—or did not address what their body actually needed.

It is not always about effort.

Sometimes it is about approach.

If the body does not have the stability it needs, it will compensate. And those compensations can make progress feel frustrating or short-lived.

The 16-Week Core Connection program focuses on rebuilding that foundation first—so your body has the support it needs to move better.

This is not about starting over.

One of the most common questions I get is:

“Do I need to be in shape before starting?”

The answer is no.

The 16-Week Core Connection program is designed to meet you where you are.

You do not need to be strong.
You do not need to be flexible.
You do not need to have everything figured out.

In fact, many people start because something does not feel right—stiffness, instability, or a sense that their body is not moving the way it should.

This program focuses on rebuilding strength and movement from the foundation up, with guidance along the way.

Progress does not come from being perfect at the start.

It comes from starting where you are and building from there.

Not all core programs are the same.

The 𝟭𝟲-𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 program is designed differently.

This is not about quick workouts or pushing through pain.

It is about stabilization and rebuilding how your body moves—starting at the foundation.

Here is what makes it different:

• Focus on functional movement, not just exercises
• Small cohort (6–8 participants) for personalized support
• Movement assessments to guide progress
• Coaching and form correction throughout the program
• A cohort experience where you are not doing it alone

This program is built for people who want to move better, feel stronger, and rebuild confidence in their body.

Because when your foundation is strong, everything else improves.

Your core is more than just your abs.

It is the system that stabilizes your spine, supports your movement, and helps your body function as a whole.

When it is not working properly, the body compensates.

That is often when you start to notice things like:
• stiffness
• instability
• discomfort in other areas

Core strength is not about doing more crunches.

It is about building stability, improving movement patterns, and supporting how your body moves in everyday life.

The 16-Week Core Connection program focuses on strengthening that foundation from the center outward. (𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘰)

Because when your core works well, everything else moves better.

Story time:

I went to Los Amigos at Victory Crossing tonight. If you know me, you know this is my favorite place and have been going there for 15 ish years. There is a wonderful family that owns and runs the restaurant.

When I left this evening, I ran into a homeless man. I felt truly called to help this man, and since I cannot explain why, I know it was God speaking to and through me. He asked me if I had a couple of dollars for a cup of coffee at the 7-11. Knowing the people at Los Amigos like I do, I told him we could go inside and get a cup of coffee, and I offered him my leftovers.

We stepped inside and I was able to get him a cup of coffee. When I asked them for some plastic flatware to give him, they told me they were getting him a plate of food too. 💙💙 Did I tell you that I LOVE the family that owns and operates this restaurant? I consider them family!

So, I sat with, we'll call him Herman (not the man in the pic), and we talked while he ate both the plate they gave him and the leftovers, while drinking his coffee. He is in his 60's, was a Veteran, living in a van, and has stage 4 Cancer (multiple types). He hasn't been able to get a job because of the Cancer. Before the naysayers jump in, I saw his Cancer meds, as they were in a bag in his hand when we met. We had a long conversation about life, experiences, and the military. When we parted ways, I gave him the $3 I had to get a cup of coffee in the morning.

I felt a kind of kinship with this man, from one veteran to another. He's been through a LOT in his life (we talked about it). When we parted ways, I just wanted to cry for him, and I DID cry for him. There are so many others like him, and there shouldn't be.

What I ask of you this evening is to pray for our past, present, and future Military service men and women. They will do what it takes to keep us, and our way of life, safe!

All derogative comments about Herman WILL be deleted. He's a good man going through a rough spot.

If your core isn’t supporting you, your body will let you know.

Here are 3 signs your core may need attention:

1. Your lower back gets tired or sore easily
2. You feel unstable during simple movements
3. You notice stiffness or tightness in your hips

These are common—and often overlooked.

The good news is that core stability can be rebuilt with the right approach.

The 16-Week Core Connection program focuses on strengthening the body from the center outward to support better movement.

If any of these sound familiar, it may be time to start there.

03/16/2026

Who is the 16-Week Core Connection program for?

This program was created for people who feel like their body isn’t moving the way it used to.

It may be a good fit for you if:

• You’re dealing with stiffness, instability, or ongoing discomfort
• You’re recovering from an injury and want to rebuild strength safely
• You feel disconnected from your body or unsure where to begin again
• You want to improve mobility, balance, and overall movement
• You’re ready to rebuild strength from the center outward

The 16-Week Core Connection program focuses on strengthening the foundation that supports how the body moves. Through intentional movement, mobility work, and functional core training, participants gradually rebuild stability and confidence in their movement.
Each cohort is intentionally small to allow for a more personalized experience, and participants move through the program together while supporting one another along the way.

Enrollment is currently open for the Founders Spring 2026 Cohort, beginning May 4.

If any of this sounds familiar, this program may be the place to start.

Enrollment closes April 30.

Years ago, my body stopped cooperating the way it used to.

Like many people who have spent years pushing their limits—whether through military service, demanding careers, or simply the stresses of life—I found myself dealing with daily pain, stiffness, and movement that just didn’t feel right.

For a long time, I searched for answers.

What I eventually discovered was that many of the issues I was experiencing were connected to something fundamental: a loss of core stability and functional movement.

When the body loses the strong foundation that supports the spine and movement patterns, it begins to compensate. Over time, those compensations can lead to discomfort, instability, and a feeling of being disconnected from your own body.

Rebuilding that foundation changed everything for me.

That journey is what led me to create the 𝟭𝟲-𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺.

This program focuses on rebuilding strength from the center outward, helping people restore stability, improve mobility, and move with greater confidence.

Enrollment is now open for the Founders Spring 2026 Cohort, beginning May 4.

Because this program includes personalized coaching, the cohort is limited to 6–8 participants.

If you've been feeling like your body isn't moving the way it should—or like you're not sure where to begin rebuilding strength—you are not alone.

This program was created for people in that exact place.

Enrollment closes April 30.

The Strategic Pause: Why the Solstice Matters for your 2026 Momentum

In the rush to close out Q4, it is easy to overlook the natural rhythm of the season. Today is the Winter Solstice—historically a time of deep reflection and "the turning of the sun."

In leadership and personal growth, we often value the "hustle," but the most successful cycles begin with a quiet audit.

As we look toward 2026, we transition into the Year of the Wood Horse in the Lunar calendar. In business and astrology alike, the "Horse" signifies:

✅Decisive Action: Moving quickly on opportunities.
✅Expansion: The "Wood" element rewards creativity and new ventures.
✅High Energy: A shift from the internal strategy of the previous year to external ex*****on.

My takeaway for the week: Use this Solstice stillness to get your "house in order." The pace is about to pick up significantly. If you want to run fast in 2026, make sure you aren’t carrying 2025’s baggage.

How are you using this final "quiet" window of the year?
