Our team attended the CRUnite 2025 Conference in Chicago this past October!

As we wrap up spooky season at Beyond, we want to thank Arasapha Farms for their continued collaboration with us! We had a spooktacular visit from our Senior Clinician, Allison, at our WG clinic for a sensory-friendly day! Our kiddos had a blast exploring shaving cream, apple stamping, creating their own monsters, and putting together exploding monsters with vinegar, baking soda, and food dye! 👻🧪🍎

⚽️Beyond the Game: Soccer Edition⚽️

This fall, our Senior Clinician of Related Services, Allison Cudmore, transformed her Allison’s Allstars mini soccer clinic into Beyond the Game — a program designed to highlight different sports while incorporating ABA, OT, and SLP strategies. For our soccer sessions, kiddos will practice key skills like kicking, dribbling, trapping, and throw-ins through:

✨ Verbal strategies – “Swing your leg through,” “Eyes on the ball,” “Step and kick”
👀 Visual supports – Therapist modeling, color-coded circles for foot placement, cones for distance goals
✋ Tactile prompts – Guided leg movement, tapping cues, larger balls for early success

We focus on meeting every child where they are — from tapping the ball with their foot to mastering controlled kicks and passes.

The Center for Autism Research at CHOP is studying brain differences and similarities in siblings! They are enrolling infants aged 6 months and younger who have an older biological sibling with autism. Families will make up to 3 visits to CHOP for developmental testing and a non-invasive MRI. You will receive verbal feedback about your infant’s developmental milestones and a written report with personalized recommendations. They compensate for time, travel, and meals. The workshop will have two tracks: one for family members/providers and one for autistic young adults. Young adults will participate in small-group discussions related to navigating adulthood and what this means.

Cost:
- Parent, Caregiver, Teen/ Young Adult: $10
