The Vegas Shoot a few weeks ago still hasn’t left me.

Being in that environment, watching the focus, the pressure, the mental discipline it takes to perform at that level, was a powerful reminder of how much of the game happens in your mind.

It inspired me even more in the work I do with my clients. Because whether it’s archery, golf, or everyday life… the same mental blocks, self-doubt, and pressure show up.

Take 2–5 minutes to step away, breathe, and reset your nervous system. You don’t need to earn rest.

2. Prioritize, don’t multitask
Stress increases when everything feels urgent. Pick your top 1–3 tasks and focus there, everything else can wait.

The Vegas Shoot 2026

This weekend wasn’t about being behind the bow, it was about being in the room. Watching, learning, and soaking in every detail of the Vegas Shoot.

There’s something powerful about stepping back and seeing the game from a different angle. The focus, the discipline, the mental strength, it all hits differently when you’re observing it in real time.

“I can confidently say that Mike has helped my golf game and has brought me more peace during stressful times. Simply talking to him after each tournament was such a small step that went a long way. We would discuss all things that are going on with the team, such as team dynamics, scores, how my personal game has been feeling lately, and how I felt throughout the tournament. We were able to recognize moments where I seemed to get a bit more in my head and the reasoning behind it. Mike helped me realize that I need to trust in what I practice, and not let being in a tournament change my mindset. I learned to recognize that hazards, hard holes, and tough shots were there, but to not let it affect me.”
