Fast don’t mean right.

Some people moving quick straight into a life that’s gonna drain them later.

And your spirit?
Yeah… it’s not letting you do that.

That’s why stuff not working.
That’s why it keep slowing you down.
That’s why it feel like everything getting blocked.

You keep calling it bad luck.

It’s not.

You getting corrected.

But intention?
That comes from the Spirit. That’s rooted in truth.

You gotta learn how to feel the difference.
Not everything that looks like love is love.
Not everything that feels warm is safe.

Some people are just keeping access.
Some people are studying you.
Some people are waiting their turn.

So stop getting flattered by attention.
That’s how people slip past your discernment.

Start watching intention.
That’s where people reveal who they really are.

And trust me…
your Spirit already knows.

This might come off a little vulnerable, but it’s been sitting on my heart.

I was thinking about my mother today… and realizing that as beautiful as she was, there aren’t many pictures of her. Not because she wasn’t worthy of being seen—but because she didn’t feel photogenic.

Now she’s gone… and I find myself wishing I had taken more.

I was talking to one of my Elders about it, and she told me something that stayed with me:

“You take good photos… make sure your daughter don’t feel that way.”

And that hit deeper than I expected.

Because if I’m being real… I spent many years carrying that same belief. That I didn’t take good pictures. And that didn’t come from somewhere light—it was rooted in childhood. Being told over and over again that I was ugly by people who weren’t s**t then - and ain’t s**t now …they had no business shaping how I saw myself.

That kind of thing lingers. It distorts your reflection. It teaches you to hide.

But as a woman, fully in my own flesh and in my power today… I forgive little Sienna for believing that.

She didn’t know any better. She was navigating what was spoken over her.

And now? I stand in who I am.

A Doyenne.

Not just in title—but in embodiment. In experience. In the depth of what I carry, what I practice, and what I teach.

And I refuse to pass down invisibility.

Because sometimes it’s not about the camera… it’s about permission. To be seen. To exist. To be remembered in your fullness.

So this is your reminder, and mine too:

Be seen.
Take the picture.
Keep the memory.

One day, someone will wish they had more of you to hold onto.

This is something I find myself explaining in sessions more than I should.

Not everything around you spiritually is yours.

And a lot of you don’t realize that
because you were never taught how to tell the difference.

So you assume:
if it shows up
if it feels familiar
if it’s been around for a long time

then it must be ancestral.

No.

Some of what you’re experiencing
didn’t come through your bloodline.

It came through what you were exposed to.
What you were surrounded by.
What you had to survive.

And then it stayed long enough
to feel like it belonged.

So when you come to me saying:
“I feel drained after I do offerings”
“I feel disconnected during ancestral work”
“I don’t feel guided, I feel confused”

I’m not looking at your intuition.

I’m looking at what you’re connected to.

Because everything that shows up
is not assigned to you.

The New Moon today March 18th is the end of a cycle…

It’s a quiet shift where you just know…
“yeah… this not it anymore.”

And if you been more in your feelings, more tired, or just not really feeling people like that…

Pay attention to that. Your Spirit is telling you something.

You’re pulling your energy back.

Because this Pisces New Moon is at the very end this not about manifesting right now.

This is about being real about what’s already over. Pay attention to your dreams over the next couple of days too…

You already know what it is.

You don’t need to keep going over it.
You don’t need to keep talking about it.

It just don’t feel right no more.
It feel forced.
It feel heavy.

That’s enough.

That’s your answer.

A lot of y’all are holding onto stuff out of habit…not because it actually still fits your life.

But this type of energy?

It’s not gonna let you fake it.

It’s just gonna keep feeling off until you finally leave it alone.

And right after this… everything starts picking up. Aries Season starts up officially 3/21 and it’s also the first day of Spring…

So if you still holding onto what’s already done, you gonna feel stuck for no reason.

Not because nothing is happening…

but because you won’t let go of what’s in the way.

Just be real with yourself.

My grandmother never left the house without red lipstick. 💄

I didn’t understand it when I was younger.
Now I do.

In Hoodoo, the mouth carries power.
It’s where prayer, command, and truth leave the body.

Red holds the energy of fire, authority, and life force.

So when she spoke… people listened.
Because the women who wear red lips usually have something to say.

I’m big on lipstick- it’s usually the only makeup I wear… and if I’m feeling a little bit more fancy I’ll throw on a little eyeliner.
