Scott Scorpions Run the Rocks 5K

7th Annual 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, April 25, 2020! Support healthy kids and a healthy community! htt

Support Elizabeth Scott Elementary by participating in the 3rd annual “Scott Scorpions Run the Rocks 5K” sponsored by Bank of McKenney. The race goes from Elizabeth Davis Middle School to Point of Rocks Park and ends at Elizabeth Scott. The Kids Fun Run will be followed by a Healthy Family Festival from 9:30am to 12:30pm, including food, games, bounce house, face painting, gardening classes, arts/

crafts, hula hooping, and lots of family fun for all ages! We have two goals for this event: first, to encourage every student to run and/or walk the 5K through before/after school training teams and in-school training efforts; and second, to raise funds to support wellness and educational programs at Elizabeth Scott Elementary. Race Day Check-In: 9am-9:30am

Kids Fun Run: 9:15am (1st grade & under only, parents may run/walk to supervise)

5K Run/Walk: 10am

Healthy Family Festival: 10:30am-12:30pm

We wish we could be running together more than anything...but if we can't, the best thing we can do is run together... from apart! Walk/Jog/Run 3.1 miles (same distance as a 5k) and tag us in your pictures! Put your favorite or t-shirt on and show us your Scott Pride!

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the 7th Annual Run the Rocks 5k, Fun Run and Festival will be cancelled. We are working to send out full refunds for all registrations as fast as we can and appreciate your patience. Please email runtherocks5k@gmail.com with any questions.

We can't wait for next year...the 8th Annual Run the Rocks 5k will be EPIC. Stay safe and healthy, scorpions!!
