As many people have heard by now, some TOC physicians are leaving our practice for a financial buyout from a private equity company. I chose to remain independent, and not partake in the financial buyout (some of the partners may be leaving TOC but not taking the financial buyout).

Recently it has come to my attention that there has been talk that I am “aligning myself with Dr. Gornet". I (along with my current partners) have been aligned with Dr. Gornet at TOC since 2005. While we have distinctly different practice styles, the business of running a medical practice requires us to work together, both in the past and in the future. There is no new alliance or change in the way Dr. Gornet and I will interact, other than there will be fewer doctors voting on and contributing to the decisions made at TOC. While it is uncertain at this time which of our partners will be leaving (and when they will be leaving), I anticipate very little, if any, alterations as to how we do business. More importantly, our team (Patti, Trish, Matthew, Debbie) will continue to provide quality patient care and the service that you have come to expect. Dr. Sridar Pinnamaneni, MD is joining TOC in January 2024 and we are in talks with several others. I anticipate our TOC office will be full with new physicians by the end of 2024.
