We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Ashley McGuinness to the United Skin Specialists team! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Dr. McGuinness is now seeing patients at our Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center in Chesterfield, MO.

Dr. Ashley McGuinness is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, specializing in surgical Ashley McGuinness,MDtreatment and reconstruction for complex skin cancers.

She received her medical doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and is a member of both Alpha Sigma Nu and Alpha Omega Alpha honorary societies. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and went on to complete her fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. McGuinness has co-authored several manuscripts in premier dermatologic journals and has presented at a number of national meetings. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American College of Mohs Surgery.

As a Saint Louis native, Dr. McGuinness feels privileged to provide personalized, exceptional care to her community.

Our Story

Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center is the premier center for cosmetic dermatology, laser skin treatments, and Mohs surgery in the St. Louis area. The board-certified dermatologists and Mohs Surgeons include George Hruza, MD, and Robert Weltman, MD. The wide array of cosmetic services are performed by Mary McKaig, BSN RN-Cosmetics and include BOTOXยฎ and dermal fillers for facial lines and wrinkles, skin rejuvenation treatments including peels and microdermabrasions, KYBELLAยฎ for double chin, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, and more.

The clinic was opened by board-certified dermatologist George J. Hruza in 1999, after teaching dermatological surgery for 11 years. The staff also includes medical assistants, nurses, and a physician assistant, several of whom have been with the clinic for more than a decade.
