From the chickens, to the cats, and most certainly the horses, all of our animals play an important therapeutic role in our program, encouraging connection and healing.

The weather outside is frightful... but did you know that horses actually prefer cooler temperatures? With thick winter coats and digestive systems that generate heat, horses can tolerate the cold as long as they have water, plenty to eat, and a shelter from the wind and rain. ☃

Did you know that horses have some of the largest eyes of all land mammals? Additionally, horses' eyes are uniquely positioned on the sides of their heads, allowing them to see nearly 360 degrees. Their only blind spots are directly in front and directly behind them 👀
