“Understanding my primary dosha informs why, at certain times, I’ve experienced bellyache, bloat, low energy and various other symptoms, and why I’ve felt mostly energized and good at other times. Intuitively, or by process of elimination, I’ve been able to make better food choices, particularly since my system began changing with menopause 25 years ago. The dosha exercise helped me correlate the effects of different food choices. Now, I can start to refine my diet, and maybe even spend less at the grocery store!
