Happy Halloween from Chesterton Manor! We had a great time at the chili cook off! A huge Thank you to Sally with Dunes Hospice LLC, Melanie with AseraCare Hospice - Valparaiso and our own Rob, for judging! Wow! Last night’s Trunk & Treat event was an absolute blast! Residents, kids, and staff all had such a great time! 🎃✨

Join us from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. for tons of Halloween fun! Bring the kids, bring yourself, and come enjoy treats, costumes, and a great community evening. We can’t wait to see everyone! 👻🍬

🦷 TOOTHPASTE DRIVE FOR 500 TURKEYS!
We’re also collecting toothpaste for 500 Turkeys, a nonprofit organization that provides meals and essentials to families in need.
Our goal is 100 tubes by 10/31/25 — and we’re currently at 40/100.

We had such a great time at the Maria Reiner Senior Center senior fair! It was a great time meeting and talking to so many people! Thank you for having us! Our County Line Orchard raffle basket was a huge hit with everyone who came by nothing says fall more than apple and pumpkin goodies!

We were treated to a wonderful surprise when Santa Claus With a Cause arrived early to check who's been naughty or nice. His warm welcome put everyone in high spirits, filling the air with smiles, laughter, and joy. Some were even overcome with good tears. If you're on the naughty list, now's your chance to turn things around. Santa also brought some gifts for the residents. Thank you for showing love to the Manor! ♥️

We had an exceptional time at our end-of-summer cookout last Friday. 😎The food, the company, and the sunshine made it a fantastic day. We even had the special treat of snow cones, courtesy of our dietary manager Lisa👩🏻‍🍳, who generously brought in her own snow cone machine. Great times, good food, and great memories were made for all. ☀️
