"A letter sent to doctors by the FDA on Monday explicitly stated that there is no evidence that acetaminophen causes autism: “To be clear, while an association between acetaminophen and autism has been described in many studies, a causal relationship has not been established and there are contrary studies in the scientific literature,” the FDA wrote."

"Correlation, however, is not causation. For example, as ice cream sales increase in summer, so do shark attacks. There is a correlation between an increase in ice cream sales and shark attacks, but ice cream consumption does not cause shark attacks, or vice versa. What causes both is a confounding factor: summer."

Experts analyze MAHA report on ADHD. "... it is notable that the commission included few scientists or experts in pediatric health care. The commission conducted no new research and it apparently did not seek comment or insight from the American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders (APSARD), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), or the World Federation of ADHD regarding the established science on ADHD causes and treatments. No patients were interviewed for or quoted in the report."
