McLendon started seeing patients in Chestertown one day per week. Since then, the practice has grown to seeing patients 4 days per week. In 2010, we welcomed our second audiologist, Stacie L. The Hearing Center of Chestertown takes a patient-centered approach, in which we not only test objectively through advanced diagnostics, but also seek a subjective understanding of our patients’ lifestyles. We provide individualized consultations, diagnostic testing, and offer the latest hearing technology on the market today. Our knowledgeable staff is here to serve you! We are dedicated to improve your quality of life through better hearing!

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Audiology Practice Coordinator to join our team and be one of the primary points of contact for our patients.
Position Summary
The Audiology Practice Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring smooth daily operations, from patient interactions to administrative support. This individual will serve as a welcoming face and professional voice of the practice, while ensuring all processes—from scheduling to billing—are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and care.
Day to day you will:
• Greet Visitors: Welcome patients and other visitors warmly.
• Manage Calls: Answer phones promptly and courteously, converting inquiries into scheduled appointments.
• Update Records: Enter and update patient information, handle invoices, receive funds, and process payments.
• Build Relationships: Maintain excellent working relationships with patients, vendors, and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required (associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus).
• Prior experience in healthcare administration, medical office, or related setting ideal.
• Experience with QuickBooks and handling Accounts Receivables/Payables
