Chronic Pruritus Study (10 Months)

Who Can Participate?

Adults aged 18 to 90 with chronic pruritus may participate.
Inclusion Criteria

• have had a diagnosis of chronic pruritus for at least 6 months
• chronic pruritus must affect at least 2 of the following body areas: legs, arms, or trunk
• have had inadequate response to prior treatment of chronic pruritus
What Are The Benefits?
• No cost to participate or receive treatment
• Regular visits with study doctors who specialise in treating chronic pruritus (7 visits)
• Will receive either an investigative injection treatment (study drug) or a placebo
• Reimbursement for study-related travel expenses may be provided
How Long Will The Study Last?
• 44 weeks

Note: Participants will need to stop all other treatments for chronic pruritus during clinical trial participation. Some over-the-counter preparations may be deemed acceptable by the doctor performing the study.

Now Enrolling: Research Trial for Significant Itch Related to Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis)
Alison Ehrlich, M.D., M.H.S., is currently seeking adults 18 years or older who experience significant itching due to eczema/atopic dermatitis (AD) to participate in a 38-week clinical research study.

Who May Qualify:
• Chronic AD for 1 year or more
• 10%–25% body coverage of AD
• High itch (pruritus) burden

What Participants Can Expect:
• No cost to participate or receive study medication
• Regular check-ins with study doctors experienced in treating AD
• Access to an investigational injectable medication
• Reimbursement for study-related expenses may be available

Study Duration:
Participants will attend approximately 8 visits over 38 weeks.
