Welcome to the Mohs surgery practice of Maral Skelsey, MD, a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, a skin cancer expert and a board certified dermatologist. Dr. Skelsey is Director of the Dermatologic Surgery Center of Washington and is currently Director of Mohs Surgery Unit and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University. Our center specializes in Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery, as well as cosmetic and rejuvenating skin procedures. Dr. Skelsey is trained in the state-of-the-art technique of Mohs surgery for the treatment of skin cancer which she performs with meticulous attention to cosmetic outcome. Our caring and attentive staff makes sure your surgery experience is comfortable and your needs are anticipated during your time with us. In the greater Washington area we are a first level resource for skin cancer diagnosis and treatment as well as the latest advances in dermatology.
