What is a Shared Living Home?

A Shared Living Home is a family-style living environment where an individual with intellectual or developmental disabilities lives in a private home and shares daily life with a trained provider.

Through Community Living Services (CLS), individuals receive support while enjoying a real home environment, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to be part of their community.

At Overture, we focus on thoughtful matches based on personality, interests, communication style, and individual goals.

Because support should feel natural, respectful, and person-centered.

It’s not just a place to live, it’s a place to belong.

Overture is proud to serve families in Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming.

Our Community Living Services are built around one simple belief: Your life should feel like YOUR life. Whether through a Host Home or Family Caregiver support, we focus on what matters most: dignity, choice, independence, and real connection.

We also offer Day Program services in Cheyenne where individuals build skills, friendships, and confidence while being active members of the community.

As Overture continues our mission of cultivating self-directed opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we're thrilled to welcome Matthew's leadership. His background as a former U.S. Army officer and founder of United Health Works brings valuable experience in mission-driven leadership and healthcare innovation to our organization.

Since 1969, Overture has been committed to empowering our communities to flourish, and this appointment strengthens our ability to continue providing premier services across Colorado, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming.
