Today we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a fun “Find the Gold” scavenger hunt for our staff and residents! 🍀

The building was painted green with all the festive outfits everyone wore, bringing lots of spirit and cheer. We enjoyed a wonderful day filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of smiles! 💚🌈

Our Current Resident of the Week, Janet!

She was selected by our wonderful EVS Director, Joanna, who shares such a special bond with her. The two can often be found chatting in the halls, exchanging stories, laughter, and plenty of smiles. Their friendship is a beautiful example of how meaningful connections are made throughout our community — in every department and every day.

Janet’s warm spirit and kind heart brighten our home, and we are so grateful for the joy she brings to residents and staff alike. 💛

❄️ Winter Olympics Week at Polaris! 🏅

We’ve been having an amazing time celebrating the spirit of the Winter Olympics! All week long, residents have been taking part in fun and festive activities, including:

🎯 Curling Fun — Friendly competition and lots of laughs as everyone gave it their best shot!
🧠 Olympics Trivia — Testing our knowledge about winter sports, countries, and flags from around the world.
🌍 Flags From Around the World — Learning about different nations and celebrating global unity.

🏒 Air Hockey Tournaments — Fast-paced fun and exciting matchups!

To make the week even more special, medals were awarded to our event winners! 🥇🥈🥉 Seeing the smiles as residents received their medals was the highlight of our celebration.

Today we filled our home with love, laughter, and beautiful memories during our Valentine’s Day party! Residents enjoyed music, dancing, refreshing drinks, and sweet cotton candy 🍹🍭💃

A special highlight of the afternoon was crowning our Valentine’s King and Queen 👑💕 — what a joyful and heartwarming moment for everyone!

We were also thrilled to have the wonderful Freddy serenade us with love songs that had everyone singing along and tapping their feet. 🎤🎵

Moments like these remind us how special community and connection are.

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us! 💌✨

Yesterday we enjoyed an exciting Super Bowl party filled with great company, tasty snacks, and lots of laughs! Residents had a blast watching the game, enjoying game-day treats, and showing off their skills during our football toss. It was a fun-filled day celebrating teamwork, friendly competition, and community spirit.

At Polaris, our Care Cash program gives team members the freedom to create meaningful moments and Lanai recently did just that.

Lanai used her Care Cash to paint pictures for our residents. She painted flowers for Ken, hoping to bring him sweet dreams and comfort in place of the nightmares he’s been experiencing. When Ken received his painting, he was so touched that he cried tears of joy.

Lori is always asking about Lanai’s artwork, so Lanai created a special painting just to make her smile. She also painted a picture for Lenna and Steve to show her appreciation for the smiles and kindness they share with her every day.

Lanai consistently takes time to visit with our residents and brighten their days. Moments like these remind us what makes Polaris such a special place.
