Wyoming Medical Society was grateful for the opportunity to participate in this year’s WWAMI Legislative Day. It’s always inspiring to see Wyoming students engaging directly with policymakers and sharing their passion for medicine and for our state.
These bright future physicians asked thoughtful, challenging questions and represented Wyoming with professionalism and heart. Most importantly, they are Wyoming kids who love Wyoming — and that commitment to serving their communities matters.

For a rural state like ours, keeping these future doctors in Wyoming is essential. Our communities depend on homegrown physicians who understand the unique challenges of rural practice and are committed to caring for patients close to home. Investing in programs like WWAMI helps strengthen the future of healthcare across every corner of our state.

We are proud to support WWAMI and the next generation of physicians who will serve Wyoming families for years to come.

93% of patients say it’s important for their physician to be involved in diagnosis and treatment decisions. Yet increasingly, bureaucratic red tape is leaving physicians out of health care decisions.

Wyoming Medical Society is working to change the system – to get back to the way it should be so that patients and doctors can make the best health care decisions.
