The number 1 question I get as a sport and exercise focused Chiropractor is "when can I return to working out after an injury or tweak?"
Well, here is the guidelines that we use at Cowboy Spine & Performance Center as we help guide our patients and athletes back to competing or training.
0โ3/10 pain ๐ Generally safe to train and return to sport-specific movements.
4โ6/10 pain ๐ Caution zone. Light activity or modified training may be appropriate, but monitor closely.
7+/10 pain ๐ Stop. This usually indicates your body is not ready for higher intensity or return-to-play.
โ
Remember: a little soreness doesnโt always mean damage โ but a consistent or sharp pain is your body asking for attention.
