My neighbor suddenly received an alert of $$$ in his account from someone he does not know. At first, he was shocked because he was not expecting any money at all, especially that kind of huge amount.

Just a few minutes later, a strange number called him. The person on the phone said the money was sent by mistake and begged him to return it. The man even said he would send another account number where my neighbor should transfer the money back.

But my neighbor did not rush.
He told the man, “No problem, come and meet me, let us go to the bank together so we can sort it out properly.”

Since then, things have been very suspicious 😒
The man refused to come in person. He kept insisting that my neighbor should just transfer the money to the account he sent. But my neighbor also refused. He said he would not send any money unless they both go to the bank together.

Now both of them are standing their ground.
The stranger does not want to show up, and my neighbor is not ready to send the money just like that.

Honestly, this situation is confusing and somehow scary. Because in this country, you have to be very careful. You don’t even know if it is a mistake or if it is a setup.

Please 🙏 If you were in this situation, what would you do?
Would you send the money back immediately or insist on going to the bank together?
Do you think this is a real mistake or something else?

Because this whole thing does not look normal to me at all.
