Art of Skin raises critical support for high-impact programs, including the AAD’s Clinical Image Collection, aimed at expanding dermatologic imagery that accurately represents all skin tones across a wide range of disease states. In dermatology, where images are critical for diagnoses, the lack of images of all skin tones in professional education has been identified as a roadblock to proper treatment and medical training.
Funds raised will also support initiatives like Good Skin Knowledge, a partnership with local non-profits and community-based organizations working to expand skin health awareness and access.
