Dr. Val Smolyansky and Dr. Irina Ganzman are identical twins that are passionate about their professions.

Their goal is to educate their followers about valuable topics in optometry and dentistry. Their goal is to educate their patients and followers about valuable topics in optometry and dentistry. They were born in Kyiv, Ukraine and immigrated to the Chicagoland area with their immediate family when they were 8 years old. Their determination to succeed was fostered in the gratitude to their parents for making the difficult journey to the United States to give them an opportunity for a better life. From a young age they knew that they wanted to be in healthcare. Through hard work and resolve, they were able to realize the American Dream and become doctors.

30 years ago today our family arrived to Chicago from Kyiv, Ukraine. This photo was taken when we just stepped off the plane! We are eternally grateful to our parents who turned their life upside down to bring us here. No country is perfect, but if you work hard, you can achieve anything. Living the American Dream. ❤️

When choosing an electric toothbrush, it doesn’t have to be fancy. It is essential it has a pressure sensor and is re-chargeable! The Oral B iO has a round brush that rotates and oscillates. It is perfect for smaller mouths and hard to reach areas. Philips Sonicare is good if you have gum recession and like the shape of a manual toothbrush.

WaterPik is a water flosser. Which is for those of us that don’t love flossing and/or have crowns, bridges, implants or braces!

Buy them back from your kids and donate it to the troops! You can even make it a fun math exercise where you give your children a certain amount of $ for each piece of Halloween candy.
