Ever wonder what Speed Friending actually is? Let us break it down.

It's not a job interview. It's not awkward small talk with strangers. It's quick chats, fun games, and easy mingling—designed for guys like us who want to meet new people without all the pressure.

Here's how it works:

✅ You rotate through short conversations with different people ✅ We give you prompt cards so you're never stuck wondering what to say ("Best travel story?" "Favorite hobby?" "Dream job?") ✅ In between rounds, you can chill with board games and card games—laugh, relax, connect at your own pace

No forced networking. No performance. Just a space to be yourself and see who you vibe with.

March can feel like a lot—winter still hanging on, money tight, news heavy, trying to show up for everybody. Some of us are tired. Some of us are hopeful. Some of us feel numb.

However you're feeling, you're not the only one. If you need a place to just sit, breathe, and be around folks who get it, Sanctuary is this Saturday (2–5PM @ The COV Church) and Lounge is at the end of the month.

LinkUp Sanctuary is a chill drop-in for guys like us—no pressure, no judgment. Just recovery support, help with housing or clinic connections, snacks, art, music, and a place to breathe.

Mothers. Aunties. Sisters. Cousins. Best friends. Elders. Pastors. Teachers. Organizers. Healers. The ones who saw us when we couldn't fully say who we were yet. The ones still covering us in prayer, advice, tough love, and joy.

All month we're talking about mental health, friendship, HIV/STI awareness, and the ways racism and homophobia show up in our lives. We're also honoring the women, femmes, and trans folks who hold us down every day.
