💕Heart Centered Flow 💕❣️🌸💌

Sunday, February 15th 4pm - 6pm

After such a beautiful and successful pop up with .esthetics last month, we wanted to do it all over again! Join us this Sunday to pour some love back into yourself 💗

We’ll begin with a grounding and heart opening practice designed to cultivate self compassion. Following our flow is the opportunity to get a little crafty! We’ll have all the supplies you may need to create personalized valentines or write sweet notes to yourself. Tasty sweet treats will also be provided 🍪🍬🍫😋

3 ways to come back to your body and create some capacity to feel and care for yourself + others. 💗

F**K ICE, go protect your neighbors. 🫶

1. Bilateral tapping: stimulates parasympathetic nervous system. Activates both the left and right sides of your brain simultaneously and can soothe anxiety.

✨bonus✨ Let a reminder/affirmation/kindness come to mind that you need to hear rn - imagine tapping into your body and breathing it into life.

2. Stress points: place your index finger and middle finger at the beginning of your brows ( or about the width of your nostrils /nose on forehead in line with brows for my unibrow friends 💗) place your thumb on center of your chin. TENDERLY apply LIGHT pressure to all three fingers as you breathe. Notice your breath. Let your teeth part.

3. Sway/rock: Wrap your hands around yourself in whatever way feels best, you can add blankets if that’s nice. Sway from side to side or rock back and forth slowly. Let your body find a rhythm. Might feel nice to squeeze or rub wherever your hands landed.

2025 brought:

Hosting my first out of state yoga retreat with ❣️

Meeting new teachers who I admire and am excited to learn more from 💗

Starting my 300hr YTT and taking more workshops on Accessible Teaching 💞

Leading grief and anger yoga offerings that made me feel so much less alone and realigned with FEELING ❤️

2025 also brought:

Burnout, depression, heightened anxiety + overwhelm and loneliness. ❤️‍🩹

I am ready to say goodbye to 2025 and I am hopeful that while 2026 will likely present many new challenges, it will also carry new joy and connection.

If you’ve taken a class with me, liked my posts, shared my events/content, supported me + this journey - I am so very grateful for you. Thank you for sharing some of your time and practicing with me, I hope to keep exploring together 💛

Practice a little reset with me to warm up your body and get unstuck ❣️

✨ Check in with your body with gentle, intuitive movement. Can you notice your spine? Your hips? Your feet?

💫 Find a little “bop” of bending your knees, letting your arms + hands grow heavy.

🌟Keep arms heavy and lazy as you swing them from side to side. Try not to worry about where the arms land across your body. You can speed this up or let the arms reach low/high — play around and explore!

⭐️ Practice keeping the arms relaxed as you slow down the body, allowing the arms to find stillness in their own time.

BREATHE 😮‍💨 What feels different? Do you feel tingly or warm? Can you breathe into your belly? The back of your ribs?

Hello sweet friends ❣️ As we all know, SNAP benefits have been heavily reduced / delayed, ICE is terrorizing the city and the cost of living has gone up - so here is a way you can help your neighbors AND take care of yourself 💗

I will be offering TWO donation restorative yoga classes next weekend; one in person class and one virtual option. Donations of all sizes are welcome ($1 minimum, since that is the lowest amount you can send electronically) and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Sending money to food banks and mutual aid funds is so so helpful and often times goes farther than canned goods can.

Syrena created a personalized table cloth for our sweetheart table and I wish I could be wrapped in it at all times 🥹😩. She is undeniably talented, her artwork fills our home and our bodies (you can find her tattoo offerings thru .inks )!! So please check out her work!

Cake:
Alex is not only a professional chef offering amazingly delicious and creative meals at , but also one of my best friends 🥲. She created both our cutting cake and large guest cake and decorated them with beautiful flowers grown on the farm! Everything Alex makes is beyond delicious, if you ever have an opportunity to try her food - sweet or savory- JUMP ON IT!

Mini donuts 🥲:
SWEET BABY CAM! Cam is the genius behind the tasty little potato donuts you can find at the wonderful in Avondale! Both Tribeccas and Tubers are FANTASTIC - get the Cubano and the vanilla iced donut and thank me later.

Natalie not only did my manicure, but also helped ground me before the busy wedding weekend 🥹. For each client she asks how she can make the space more soothing + comfortable for you, so we watched one of my favorite movies while chatting. I have never felt SO at ease at an appointment. She is so gentle and precise and the TALENT?????!!! Do yourself a favor and get booked! ✨

My sweet Scorpio twin Lucie-Ann made our welcome sign poster for guests to sign. She doodled myself, my partner and our sweet cat Lady 🥹 I can’t wait to frame this piece in our home and it was so special to have her art depict our next chapter. LucieAnn makes delicate, beautiful art that sometimes you are lucky enough to find at a pop up or in a poetry book. She is a kind and powerful presence and you can feel that energy in each piece she creates ❤️‍🔥.

DANA!! My nbi Chicago twin 🥹🥲 Dana is so incredibly talented and kind and was one of the first to back my chartreuse dream. So affirming to work with a nonbinary maker who ensured I felt 100% like me 💚

Okay, full transparency, Jen is my sister BUT SHE DOESNT MISS!!! Jen starts from skin care UP, so I felt soooo good even before the makeup touched my face. We collaborated on my hair and it was so special to have my sister be such a big part of my look 🥲

So excited to announce I’m starting my 300hr teacher training with ! I was given a scholarship as well as a payment plan, which is the only way this is possible — so I am feeling extremely grateful!

I’ve been on the hunt for an affordable training option that aligns with my values and honors yoga’s roots — keeping the practice accessible and considering all bodies + identities that may come to connect.

My schedule should stay relatively the same and I can’t wait to share with all of you what I’m learning! 🥲

I am trans. I always have been, just didn’t learn the words of what I was feeling internally until later in life. When I found those words…when I realized I wasn’t the only person feeling them…it changed my whole world in the very best way.

To be truly, authentically yourself is a dangerous thing for oppressive governments. They benefit from insecure, quiet, and fearful people — we are existing in such magical and beautiful ways that it scares them. Trans /nbi people symbolize freedom. Dismantling the boxes we’ve been placed in and by doing so liberating everyone around us.

To my fellow trans, nonbinary and GNC people : I love you. I’m here for you- to hold hands; cry; breathe ; scream; fight; giggle and hold on to joy’s glimmers. You’re not alone and you make this world sweeter. ❤️

If you’re CIS please speak the f**k up. Be loud in your allyship with both words and actions. Check in on your trans / nbi friends — especially those who are Black, Palestinian, Hispanic, or a person of color. We’re all connected and it takes all types of people to see the full beauty in this world.

Be kind to yourself friends. It’s scary and heavy and hard right now, but we’ve got each other and that’s what they want us to forget.
