The middle block is an effective snapping block similar to a hammer fist strike. In Iron Fist Kung Fu every block is a strike and every strike is a block.

-raise the arm up with elbow pointing away from the body and fist by the head
-lead with elbow
-with fist tightened strike across the body in a snapping motion

"Great for breaking down doors and breaking faces." This is a very useful kick when applied correctly. It's very quick when practiced and can be used as a strike to the knee, stomach, chest, or even head. Use from the front leg for a more defensive quick kick. Use from the back leg for a more offensive powerful kick.

A great weapon to throw at an opponent is the elbow strike. It's a hard bone that can cause a lot of damage if presented properly. Keep in mind you're not actually sticking with the elbow but the flat side of the forearm and it's all about the hips.

-ready yourself
-rotate at the hips
-tuck that fist into the armpit
-strike with the flat part of the forearm
