That's right....this Saturday (the 13th) on top off our regular FREE yoga class at 9:00am we will also have a FREE fitness class at 10:30am.

WHY? Well we are expanding and with that expansion comes sound proofing since we will be adding more fitness and even SPIN classes to our schedule later this Autumn. We need a full class for the IT'S LIT HIIT (it's one of our loudest classes--so want a full house to help make it as loud as possible so we can test sound barriers and whatnot). For the help in testing this we are giving this class away FREE for this Saturday only and all of you with unlimited packages will have your packages extended 1 extra day if you attend!

YOU NEED TO SIGN UP AHEAD OF TIME AS CLASS CAPACITY FOR THE HIIT CLASS IS 15 PEOPLE.

We just wanted to put this out there to relieve any confusion or anxiety about the news of our expansion and the coffee shop for our parent company The Scent Queens. The coffees shop will be inside the Apothecary Shoppe next door at 3728 W Montrose Ave, hence the need for an architect as we have to make a Shoppe/Coffee Shop Hybrid that will include seating.

As for the yoga studio...it's not going anywhere. We are opening a 2nd and bigger location. Not sure how that may have not been clear but here it all is. :)

We now have Megan Backes in the studio!

You probably know her from Horner Park Farmers Market Yoga or North Park Community Market Yoga on the weekends. And now you can catch her in our studio every Tuesday & Thursday at 12pm for her very own and unique class Hatha Vinyasa Flow.

However please note the 4:30p HATHA CLASS is canceled so please don't show up for that as it's actually not on schedule for today but the 6pm TABATA TAKEDOWN and 7:30pm LET THAT SH* T GO FLOW are on with Andrew.

🧘‍♂️ Behind the Scenes of Owning A Yoga Studio & Other Small Businesses 🧘‍♂️

Running a yoga studio means stepping up wherever you’re needed — on or off the mat. This week, Andrew, the other half of our businesses, is subbing and teaching extra classes to keep our schedule flowing smoothly this week.

We know you missed him as he reduced his schedule the past week or so due to health issues and he finally got some answers... Herniated Disc...he does have the onset of osteoarthritis but nothing to worry about right now and this will be monitored as time goes on per doctor. For now it's just meds and physical therapy and... His classes at the studio.

As small business owners, we wear many hats: teacher, front desk, operations and sometimes tech support when the speakers decide not to cooperate. 😉

Owning a business means making tough calls, showing up anyway, and doing what needs to get done—even when your health stages a coup. So come show Andrew some love in all these classes this week...and check out his cool new hair cut and color that is all the buzz...literally haha. And experience his incredible energy and magic firsthand.

On a serious note we are forever grateful for our community who shows up and supports us through it all. We are still going through all the applications for instructors in our studio to broaden the schedule and the sub list.
