Ready for self-discovery and meaningful growth? One Love Studio is offering two different virtual art therapy workshops this Fall, designed to help you explore your identity, express your true self, and experience healing.

​Group 1: Exploring Identity Through Art (Latine/x Community)
​🗓️ Oct 15th - Dec 3rd, 2025 (8 Weeks)
​⏰ Every Thursday, 7:00 - 8:30 PM CDT
​Focus: Cultural, intergenerational healing, and identity reclamation for the Latine/x Community.
​Cost: $27 per session

​Group 2: Building Identity Through Art (General)
​🗓️ Oct 28th - Dec 16th, 2025 (8 Weeks)
​⏰ Every Tuesday, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CDT
​Focus: General self-discovery, identity development, and personal growth through art.
​Cost: $27 per session

​Meet Your Facilitators: Both groups are led by the experienced team of Ericka (LCPC, Doctoral Art Therapy Intern) and Sumin (ATR, LPC, Bilingual Immigrant & Certified Art Therapist).
​No prior art experience is needed! Your supplies are simple, and the process is transformative.

Convocatoria abierta para la presentación de trabajos artísticos: Arte y Sanación

Nos complace anunciar una convocatoria abierta para la próxima exposición comunitaria, enfocada en el tema "Sanación a través del arte". Esta es una invitación para que los artistas exploren y expresen cómo el arte puede ser una herramienta poderosa para la sanación personal, el bienestar mental y el crecimiento emocional.

Aceptamos propuestas de artistas de todos los orígenes y estilos que deseen mostrar el poder transformador de la creatividad. Ya sea que su obra refleje un viaje personal de sanación, explore la relación entre el arte y la salud mental, o inspire a otros en su propio camino hacia el bienestar, lo alentamos a compartir su visión a través del arte.

Pautas de presentación:
- Tema: Sanación, bienestar emocional y el poder terapéutico del arte.
- Medios aceptados: Todas las formas de arte visual, incluidas la pintura, el dibujo, la fotografía, la escultura, el arte digital y los medios mixtos.
- Elegibilidad: Abierto a artistas de todos los niveles, con un enfoque especial en artistas comunitarios y emergentes.
- Fecha límite: 30 de Septiembre
- Requisitos: Cada artista puede enviar hasta dos piezas, acompañadas de una breve declaración (150 palabras) que explique cómo su obra se relaciona con el tema.

Open Call for Art Submissions: Healing Through Art

We are excited to announce an open call for artists to submit work for our upcoming community exhibition, centered on the theme of "Healing Through Art". This is an opportunity for artists to explore and express how art can be a powerful tool for personal healing, mental well-being, and emotional growth.

We welcome submissions from artists of all backgrounds and styles who are passionate about showcasing the transformative power of creativity. Whether your work reflects a personal journey of healing, explores the intersection of art and mental health, or aims to inspire others on their own path to wellness, we encourage you to share your voice through your art.

Submission Guidelines:
- Theme: Healing, mental well-being, and the therapeutic power of art and creativity.
- Mediums Accepted: All visual art forms, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.
- Eligibility: Open to artists of all skill levels, with a particular emphasis on community-based and emerging artists.
- Deadline for Submission: September 30th
- Submission Requirements: Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration, along with a brief artist statement (150 words) explaining how their work relates to the theme.
- Exhibit Date and Venue:
Casa Michoacán Elgin - October 11th
Casa Michoacán Pilsen - October 18th
