Daniel and I have been digging into the data on climbing injuries, and I’m excited for him to finally share our findings with the IPTA community. At the clinic, I see how frustrating finger injuries are for climbers, so we’ve focused our research on how the Health Belief Model can actually improve prevention.
If you’re a therapist working with this population or even just curious about the topic, join us to talk through distinguishing pulley strains, tenosynovitis and capsulitis—a common point of diagnostic error—and using evidence-based strategies to keep your athletes on the wall.
The Details:
Topic: Finger Injury Prevention in Rock Climbing
Date: Thursday, April 9 | 7-8:30 PM (Zoom)
